Spirit of Freedom employs experienced, qualified and professional crew to work on our luxury live-aboard dive vessel operating from Cairns to the Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea.

If you are a motivated self starter, willing to accept the responsibilities associated with live-aboard dive vessels, you enjoy the company of other divers and can provide a high level of hospitality to our international guests, please complete the application form for consideration towards one of the listed positions. Tusa Dive offers additional employment opportunities aboard their dive vessels specialising in daily trips for experienced divers and snorkellers to the Great Barrier Reef.

Work Permits

Australia: If you are not an Australian or New Zealand citizen you will require a work permit for Australia. Company sponsorship is extremely difficult to obtain unless you have some specialized skill that cannot be easily found within Australia. eg. a combination of instructor, engineer & multilingual qualifications.

TRIP DIRECTOR
Requirements	Job Description
Possess an outgoing, charismatic personality. Management skills including leadership, initiative and interpersonal skills. PADI OWSI certification with 2 years teaching experience, 100 certifications and 400 dives. Nitrox instructor certification with liability insurance. Current training in First Aid and Emergency Oxygen Administration. Restricted coxswains certification. Occupational Health & Safety at Sea (STCW 95 preferred) Hospitality experience, 2 years. Experience in reef interpretation and underwater photography. Foreign language skills (preferred)	Demonstrate human resource skills. Provide hospitality to guests.
