SPIRIT OF FREEDOM SWIM WITH AWESOME WHALE SHARK ON OSPREY REEF - 9th June 2010
Guests onboard Spirit of Freedom were privy to an exclusive encounter with an enormous Whale Shark at Osprey Reef recently. The 7 metre gentle giant cruised by 18 awe inspired divers and snorkellers on Saturday. Whale Sharks are not common in the areas of Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea however this sighting comes just 2 months after guests and crew onboard Spirit of Freedom had an another exciting meeting with a juvenile Whale Shark back in March.
