Minke Magic! The whale's turned up at the crystal clear waters of Lighthouse Bommie putting on majestic show very few will forget! 8 large adults and a couple of smaller animals entertained their curiosity for well over an hour, as they spirled in ever decreasing circles around the divers. And as if this was not enough... a column of Trevally stretched out from the sea floor to the surface. Yellow Tail Barracuda tried to impress, on a normal day this would have been a highlight to a dive. Turtles, Sea Snakes entwined, Bull Ray, Octopus, Curious Worm Fish & a host of usual subjects could not steal the limelight.
We had the World Famous Cod Hole to follow. Cade managing to entertain the 3 large Cod, battling for the dominant position in the feed. Our guests enjoyed spectacle of their life. Once again the visibility exceeded 30m.
Congratulations to our new advanced divers, 5 divers put through the rigorous training schedule of our new Instructor Phil.
We had the Ferrari's enjoying their honeymoon onboard, congratulations guys! We also had 3 guests join us from the land of the rising sun, one for the 3rd time! Also joining us were some Aussie guests escaping the cooler climate of the South. Our American contingent were looking to experience the GBR and their experience I am told, surpassed their previous experiences.
Safe to say that winter in the Ribbons is the place to be, Ahh we live in heaven.
