Spirit of Freedom - TRIP Gallery

Mon 7th June 2010 - Thu 10th June 2010

We were joined by a small group of 15 this trip -  predominantly from the U.S with the exception of 1 diver from France, 1 from Brazil, and one Aussie representative. All keen divers with an enormous variety of experience. And a variety of enormous underwater cameras!

MARINE LIFE: Straight in with the turtles at the Caves. All the lads were waiting at the Cod Hole for the feed that ensued. One particular Potato Cod got a little too frisky, had a little nibble on my arm. Sharks and eels everywhere at Challenger Bay for the night dive. Two Towers had it all though; Eagle Rays, Sea Snakes, Turtles, Tuna, Lion Fish, and a myriad of other little schooling fish.

But all this was overshadowed by our first underwater Minke experience. And overshadowed would be an easy term to use, as the only thing bigger than the Whale, was the smiles of the divers as they exited the water, and long into the trip.

Well done to all the divers on their first night dive, and first drift dive. Oh, and did I mention we saw a Minke? Yeah, we had Minke's with the divers!

Thanks guys - a great bunch of happy divers.  Best of luck with all future diving adventures. See you on the beach. Mossy
