Spirit of Freedom - TRIP Gallery

Any Trip that starts at the ‘Snake pit" is always going to be good! This was no exception! To quote Ash, ‘It just keeps getting better!" The weather gods smiled on our Melbourne group and osprey reef was Sunny, flat and calm! The weather gods weren't the only gods being kind. Poseidon himself unleashed sea snakes, turtles, Leopard sharks, masses of grey sharks, white tips every where, Manta ray, big Silver tips, huge cod and Hammer heads. As if that wasn't enough to make an amazing trip, everybody (except me!) had a very rare and amazingly close encounter with a 6 mtr WHALE SHARK! This particular shark must have been a rock star as he had a group of fans/paparazzi in the form of grey, silver tip and hammer head sharks following him up and down the wall as he posed for our lucky guests cameras! The ‘Diver instruction services' group were well trained, well behaved and a pleasure to have on board. You guys truly deserved such an amazing experience and will always be welcome back on the Spirit of Freedom.
