Our first destination on our Coral Sea Safari, was at the amazing Monolith, full of all the usual reef suspects. Such a fascinating site we decided to stop for 3 dives including a night dive full of members of the tooth brigade!!!

Bright and early Friday morning we start our day with a visual spectacular at a rarely dived site, the vibrant Geisha's Garden, where all manner of marine life hung around and the coral is at its healthiest.
Next we stoped in at cod hole to see some of the locals, around 6 gigantic potato cod, joined in the feed and the clear waters of the cod hole provided some fantastic photos.

The next exciting dive was at Lighthouse bommie and with a slight current to bring in some awesome life. Spotted on this dive among others: green sea turtle, lion fish, many species of nudibranch, pipe fish, big eye trevally, yellow lined snapper, barracuda, mangrove jack & grey whaler sharks.
Pixie gardens produced some fantastic macro including a wide variety of nudibranch
Out at osprey we prepared for our world famous shark attraction, white tips, grey whalers, a 3m silver tip and a school of 5 scalloped hammerheads & a solitary 4m great hammerhead buzzed our wide eyed divers.
A quick drift down the eastern wall gave our divers a chance to see plenty more sharks still lingering around after the feed including another glimpse at the great hammerhead.

Next up we stoped in at False entrance for a beautiful dive, to appreciate the large diversity of marine life on display and a manta ray sighting made it all the more exciting.
Our last osprey dive was at Castles, a nice relaxing dive with minimal current and nice vis, beautiful tropical fish species made and many different corals made this dive a favourite amongst some of our divers.

Last day of the trip, back in the ribbon reefs, we do our first two dives at Steves bommie and it was an explosion of life & colour, the masses of fusilier & anthias decorated the first 15m. Stone fish & wobbygong sharks were cleverly disguised hidden inside cracks & crevasses giving a few of our divers a nice surprise. Other amazing marine life spotted: pipe fish, lion fish, green sea turtles, barracuda & grey whaler sharks.
We finished our trip with some nice relaxing lagoon dives at Joanies joy & Flair point, two very popular sites amongst crew and guests alike. Fantastic visibility and reef exposed above the waterline added to the overall appeal of the locations and our resident loggerhead turtle cruised past the boat to give everyone a glimpse of his sheer size. With all the dives completed, we all climb aboard to have a delicious BBQ and say some sad farewells.

A very special thankyou to all our amazing guests, and we hope to see you all in the not too distant future!
