Vanuatu is a tropical paradise. Balmy weather, coconut lined beaches overlooking clear waters, studded with reefs and islands. It is also home to one of the world's best wreck dives, the SS President Coolidge.
Lying in 20-70m of water, just offshore from the island of Espiritu Santo, one hour's flight from Vanuatu's capital Port Vila, the SS President Coolidge sank almost completely intact in World War II and is an underwater museum, preserving the past and providing habitat to vibrant coral reefs and marine residents.
Aquamarine is Vanuatu's most qualified dive operator and training facility. They are a registered PADI Resort, SSI Instructor Training Facility, SDI Instructor Training Facility and TDI Instructor Training Facility and have logged over 30,000 combined dives on the Coolidge alone.
Based in Luganville, Aquamarine is Santo's only waterfront dive shop and its private harbour is the perfect place to commence your dive exploration of the SS President Coolidge.
To dive the world's best wreck, you need an Open Water Divers License (as a minimum). Advanced and higher is required for a complete exploration of its lower holds and decks.

Aquamarine also offers dives on the SS Tucker, a US Destroyer that is scattered across the ocean floor at 20m and the famous New Zealand tug, Tui Tawate, which rests 40-45m under the water.
All dive sites are well protected in calm, warm waters which can be enjoyed year round. They lie close to the shores of Espiritu Santo, meaning less travel time (15-30 minutes) and more dive time. Visibility ranges from 10-40m, pending the time of year.
